Marketing and Communications Agency Announces Staff Appointments
Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.—October 30, 2007—Oakbrook Terrace-based marketing and communications agency David James Group announces the appointments of Oak Forest, Ill. resident Lauren Hammer as Account Coordinator, and Wheaton, Ill. resident Marita Madderom as Office Coordinator.
Prior to joining DJG, Lauren was the career events intern for Michigan State University’s Career Services and Placement where she collaborated with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation in creating MSU’s first job shadow program. Lauren also facilitated fundraising for Lansing Michigan’s Refugee Development Center as the community relations intern. She graduated with honors from Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Specialization in Public Relations. She participated in MSU’s study abroad program and numerous volunteer organizations, and was also a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Public Relations Student Society of America.
Madderom most recently was a media assistant at Briar Glen High School, and she served as a senior marketing representative with Computer Sciences Corporation. Prior to those positions she was employed as a commercial claim adjuster with Allstate Insurance Company.
