David James Group Appoints Chicago Resident Brad Tippett
to Interactive Designer Position
Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.—January 12, 2009 —Oakbrook Terrace-based marketing and communications agency David James Group (DJG) announces the appointment of Chicago, Ill. resident Brad Tippett as Interactive Designer.
"As we continue to grow in the digital space, adding Brad strengthens our position,” says Ron Zywicki, VP Creative Services. “He has a strong technical background that is well-balanced with an eye for design and appreciation for creativity.”
Prior to DJG, Tippett held the dual role of Webmaster and Network Services Coordinator at New Albany Schools in New Albany, Ohio. He was responsible for overseeing the design and development of the school district’s online communications including its website, microsites and targeted emails. Among his many contributions, he helped more than double the website audience as well as developed an authentication framework and rolled out a district-wide content management system. In addition, Tippett conducted freelance work for public sector and non-profit entities such as local government offices, community arts programs and political campaigns.
Tippett holds a BFA in Advertising and Graphic Design from the Columbus College of Art & Design. In addition, he has completed coursework a The Ohio State University in visual communication and has taken professional development courses in W3C standards-compliant HTML and CSS, PHP development, and Windows and Linux server administration and security.
