David James Group Welcomes Leading Soil and Water Conservation Society to Client Roster

Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.—January 2, 2009—David James Group (DJG), an Oakbrook Terrace-based integrated marketing communications firm, has added the Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) as a client.

DJG will develop a complete marketing plan for SWCS, including effective strategic and brand development initiatives to revitalize the Society and help it achieve its objectives.

“SWCS is the leader in advocating science-based conservation practices that protect our soil, water and related natural resources to improve the overall quality of life in both rural and urban communities,” says Brian Knier, Director of Strategic Development. “We’re looking forward to expanding their reach and opportunities through forward-thinking marketing initiatives.”

SWCS—a nonprofit scientific and educational organization—has more than 5,000 members worldwide, including researchers, administrators, planners, policymakers, technical advisors, teachers, students, farmers and ranchers. The Society advocates for conservation professionals and for science-based conservation practice, programs and policy to fulfill its mission of fostering the science and art of natural resource conservation.
