David James Group Wins Silver Sledgehammer—B-to-B's Top Honor

Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.—June 24, 2008—Oakbrook Terrace-based integrated marketing communications firm David James Group (DJG) recently received the Silver Sledgehammer, the top honor in the prestigious Business Marketing Association Pro-Comm Awards competition for its Darwill Get Happy branding campaign.

DJG is the exclusive winner of the 2008 Silver Sledgehammer Award for the Best of Corporate/Brand/Integrated Category. The winning Get Happy campaign communicates that Darwill’s combination of outstanding commercial printing capabilities, workflows and customer service makes customers’ lives easier. The initiative, which includes direct marketing, collateral, proof folders, sample boxes, delivery vehicles and more, is directed at marketing directors, production managers, designers and anyone looking for superior printed communications, 1:1 marketing and stronger, documented results.

Pro-Comm is one of the advertising industry’s premier award programs, drawing hundreds of entries annually from b-to-b marketing agencies and clients nationwide. Their Silver Sledgehammer Awards recognize the top entries in each of the Pro-Comm categories: Best of Corporate/Brand/Integrated; Best of Print; Best of Trade Show/Special Event/Promotion; and Best of Online/On-air. Judging for the awards took place at BMA Headquarters on April 10. Winners were formally announced during the BMA Annual Conference on June 12 at the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort in Las Vegas.
